Saddam's sentence uhphelds!
After a brief call in appeal, Saddam's death sentence is still upheld. As I wrote in a previous post, though Saddam is a war criminal and deserves everything but a providential life, I think that it's plainly wrong to sentence him to death; being a martyr will take its toll on the sunnies and will only excite further the extremists, which is unlikely to help at all the coalition forces over here who are already struggling a maximum to hold a dangling and very fragile balance over the battle field. Yep folks, now that the sentence is upheld, you can be assured that you will assist to an incredible insurgency of bolstering violence.
