death sentence and a bloodbath

A few hours ago while my fellow friends from North America were sleeping, Saddam has been charged with death sentence... I am fairly not sure that it was a good idea, it's the best exciting manoeuvre you could to get an already angry sunnites mob even further to the arms and to exerce an even more complete and determinate retaliation. HIstory teached many times that martyrs are the last thing you need when facing a capable ennemy.
